Totum

Vallation survived - even thrived, for a time - under the rulership of one man, and his death caused the city to descend into chaos. Totum seeks to reverse that trend, to bring Vallation back under a single banner. After all, it was division and discord that tempted the demon horde to Rise and destroy the earth - they seek to prevent humanity from repeating its own mistakes. If that means conquering the rest of the districts and putting rebels to the sword… Well, that’s the price you pay for unity.

Edward Hill was the first leader to rise from the masses after the death of the original founder. A mild megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur, he named himself the First King of Vallation and called his closest friend his Prime Minister. He took over Greystead, the home of Erim Grey, and brought four districts under his control in a matter of months. Though Edward himself didn’t last long, his Prime Minister was very popular, and even twenty years later Totum has the highest population of any clan in the city. While they tolerate both the Neutralists and Nikephoros, believing that in a time of need either could be convinced to follow their cause, they distrust the Infernus and openly hate Than.

Grey District: The innermost district of Totum. Within it lies Greystead, a fortified stone mansion that has been passed down through generations of the Grey family. It is the seat of the royal family.
Victoria District: The second district of Totum. The wealthiest and most powerful citizens live here, in hastily repaired cabins. Its prestige is mostly due to its proximity to Grey District. By tradition, the Prime Minister lives here.
Cyrus District: The third district of Totum. By tradition, the eldest of the two knights lives here.
Augustus District: The outermost district of Totum. The poorest and most desperate citizens live here. By tradition, the youngest knight, and therefore the least important member of Totum’s ruling council, lives here to keep an eye on the discontented poor - and the borders of enemy territory.
