Inferus

The Inferus are the smallest clan, with the least amount of territory next to the Neutralists, and yet they are renowned as the most powerful - and the most deadly. In truth, all of the people in Vallation, these are the most broken. These are the people who looked into the eyes of demons… and allowed the horror there to swallow them whole. There is no spark of compassion in their eyes, no hidden sympathies for a victim to appeal to, and so they make perfect mercenaries. Silent, brutal, and merciless, the members of Inferus are openly feared by many in the city. They are more neutral than even the open-minded Neutralists, for they will accept payment from anyone, and make no judgements concerning the nature of the task appointed to them. What their true goals are no one quite knows - except that it involves gathering as much wealth and power as possible.

According to the citizens of the clan, they are led by the Face, and he controls the Stygians, the four assassins who can sneak into any home, snuff out any life. However, it is said that the Face is merely a figurehead with no real power, a puppet controlled by the one who calls himself the Faceless.

Canus District: The outermost district of Inferus. Within this district lies the Cave of the Faceless, the meeting place of the four Stygius and their Leaders, the Face and the Faceless.
Furvus District: The innermost district of Inferus, once the Athena district of Nikephoros. Nikephoros has an unpleasant habit of randomly chucking severed heads over the wall, just to show that they’re still irritated about losing the district to Infernus.
Albidus District: The middle district of Inferus. Most citizens and hunters live here.
