Neutralists

Though Totum professes to follow the example of the original founder Erim, in reality it is the Neutralists who most closely practice his values. Six years after his death, they resurrected compassion, fairness, and neutrality, and though they remain the smallest and least powerful clan in Vallation, no other clan has yet bothered to attack them. They provide the valuable resource of trade on neutral ground - which most clan leaders are too proud to admit they need - and often mediate between the feuding clans to prevent unnecessary loss of life. In fact, it is only due to the Neutralists that the balance of power has remained so constant for the past few years.

The Neutralists do not have a single leader. Instead, they elect a Council of three to make decisions for the clan, and often to negotiate treaties between other clans. They also have a priest who caters to all religious beliefs, and acts as spiritual guide for the council, advocating tolerance and attempting to predict the actions of the demons and angels outside the walls. They do their best to remain neutral in all things, but they distrust both Than and Infernus.

Arctomecon Merriamii District: The outermost district of Neutralist territory. It contains a library, called the Erim Grey Library, consisting of every book the Neutralists have been able to collect. It was originally built by the founder, Erim.
Roerich District: The innermost district of Neutralist territory. This is where traders and gatherers from all the clans come to barter and trade. The Neutralists even convinced Nikephoros to allow traders from Infernus and Than to pass through their territory once a week in order to support the Trade.
